Application
The Application of Thatch Fire Proofing is carried out according to specific standards and procedures. Thatch Fire Marshal has been tested by independent laboratories who confirmed the product to last for 5 years once the application has been done.
Certification
If the thatch is new, the certificate is valid for 5 years. If the roof is old, the certificate is valid for 4 years. If the roof is brushed after the treatment, then the certificate is voided and the treatment has to be redone. JJ Thatching advises clients to always keep a fire extinguisher within easy reach of the thatched area.
